Gail has had a long relationship with Marblehead Children’s Center. Her first experience as Director was from 1987-1997. Gail then worked in the Pentucket regional schools for eight years in various positions, including the role of Co-Director of the Extended Day Kindergarten Program. Fortunately for all, Gail was welcomed back as Director of MCC in 2008. She is a graduate of Regis College with a degree in Sociology and Elementary Education, and she holds a Masters’ degree in Early Childhood Education from Salem State University. She was also an instructor and mentor teacher at Northern Essex Community College.
Karen grew up in Marblehead, attended local schools, and has been a preschool teacher since 1987. She is Director-qualified and worked at MCC for 12 years and then returned to MCC in 2008. Karen is married to a local lobsterman and has two grown children and 3 delightful grandchildren. In her free time, Karen enjoys time in Maine and being with her family.
