The Toddler Program offers hands-on exploration and social interaction in safe, engaging surroundings to help your child learn about his/her expanding world. For most children, this is their first experience out of the home and in a group setting, which is challenging in and of itself. Play is encouraged as a way to develop social interaction. Fine and gross motor skills are also introduced through daily participation in music, art, story time, dramatic play, block building, group projects, and outdoor play. Toddler teachers foster self-help skills by modeling appropriate behavior.
